“This song was written to honour all those who served, and continue to serve in the name of Freedom-the Freedom that we are fortunate to enjoy. The song originated from my earlier memories as a young boy, listening to my Italian grandfathers speak of the war, the roles they played, the friends they lost, and the sacrifices that were made at a terrible cost. They taught me that “LIBERTÀ,” was not something to be taken for granted, rather something to be appreciated, celebrated, and cherished.” ~Sal
